Rivers of the World “is a not-for-profit Christian ministry, led by Ben Mathis, that targets remote river basins,” and serves the people of those areas through education, research, medical/dental help, church planting, construction, evangelism, and Bible distribution.

Ministries in HaitiThrough mission trips and financial donations, Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church has a special relationship with the people of Haiti, especially those of Leogane. Some of the particular ministries that we help support are:
Hospital St. Croix is a 120-bed hospital in Leogane with a longstanding relationship with the PC (USA) and our congregation. This hospital provides health care for the more than 100,000 people living in the Leogane district. Holy Cross Nursing School is part of Hospital St. Croix, and our church sponsors two nurses who are enrolled in this school.
www.mbfoundation.org The Children’s Nutrition Program of Haiti works to provide adequate nutrition among Haiti’s children, especially those suffering malnutrition.
For more information go to www.cnphaiti.org Hope Haven Orphanage is a home for up to fifty children in Cap Haitian. Without the home, these children would probably be living on the streets, but are fortunately provided a loving, Christian environment that includes schooling and health care.

Mar Elias Educational Institutions
Named and started by Father Elias Chacour, Mar Elias Educational Institutions provides education for Palestinian children. The life of Elias Chacour has been spent on working for justice for Palestinians, while striving for peace in this war torn region, or in his own words: “The world does not need any more enemies, but common friends. Mission India
By the vision of “Making Disciples to Transform India for Christ,” Mission India is continuing the ancient tradition of Indian Christianity by empowering local Indian Christians for the work of establishing new churches and forming Bible schools. www.missionindia.org
Presbyterian Frontier Fellowship

Baseball Without Borders

By “supporting women and their children in their effort to live violence free,” Partnership Against Domestic Violence has been serving Metro Atlanta for 25 years through their crisis line (404-873-1766 or 770-963-9799), emergency shelters, parenting groups, transitional services, legal advocacy and more.

For 25 years Clifton Sanctuary Ministries has been providing food, clothing, rest, shelter, healing, and support for homeless men in Atlanta.
